Costa Adeje is one of the top four tourist destinations on the island of Tenerife, along with Playa de las Americas, Los Cristianos and Puerto de la Cruz.
Costa Adeje is a quiet and luxurious resort which begins at 'Playa de Fañabe'. Here begins a stretch of coast that covers several miles towards Playa de las Americas in Los Cristianos.
In Costa Adeje you have the famous 'Playa de Fañabe' beach which is connected to the 'Playa de Torviscas' beach (following directions to the 'Playa del Duque' beach). Each of these beaches leads into the other and you wouldnt even know you'd left one and entered another were it not for the signs along the promenade. Of all these beaches are Blue Flag beaches and are widely considered among the best on the island.

Costa Adeje is situated very close to the resorts of Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas. Further afield you have the national parks at 'Macizo de Adeje' and 'Barranco del Infierno', both areas full of wildlife and stunning landscapes.
The whole area along the coast of the municipality of Adeje, all born from former agricultural land, has experienced dramatic growth in recent years. At present, the towns and villages which are officially grouped within Costa Adeje are: Playa Fanabe, San Eugenio, Torviscas, La Caleta, Adeje, El Beril, Playa Del Duque, Playa Paraiso, El Puertito and Sueño Azul.
Tenerife South Airport is only 20 kilometres from Costa Adeje.
